Edd Dawson of broadband.co.uk, one of the companies whose results were questioned, writes that since the January tests they have made changes that will resolve any problems and produce accurate results. Virgin found speedtest.net accurate, no surprise since it runs Ookla software. Since Mike Apgar and other former Speakeasy employees founded Ookla in 2006, they've acquired customers Comcast, Time Warner, Cox, Charter, AT&T, Rogers Cable, and Verizon.
